Fields of interest/specialization: modern and comparative languages and literatures, the history of the Romanian language.

A graduate in Modern and Comparative Languages ​​and Literatures at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy in Turin, in 2004, under the coordination of Prof. M. Cugno, he obtained his doctorate in “Comparative Literatures, Romance and Romance Philology”. After an experience of three years (2004-2007) as Lecturer in Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Letters at the University of Oradea, in 2007 he started collaborating with the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures of the University of Turin. Since 2015 he is Head of the Department of Romanian Language and Literature (Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures and Modern Cultures, University of Turin). From 2011 to 2013 he was a member of the Didactic Commission of the Department, from 2017 he is currently a Member of the Commission for the Guidance of the Bachelor’s Course “Lingue e letterature moderne” (L-11) and of the Didactic Commission of the Department. In 2019 he became Head of Internationalization of the Master’s Course “Foreign Languages ​​for International Communication” (LM-38). Since 2015 he is a Member of the Doctoral College, PhD in Digital Humanities, University of Genoa-University of Turin. He is currently a member of the Scientific Committee of the Romanian study collection “La colonna infinita”, international of the Institute of Romanian Philology „Al. Philippides ”. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of RiCOGNIZIONI magazine. Rivista di lingue letterature e culture moderne, and the magazine CoSMo. Comparative Studies in Modernism, Centro Studi Arti della Modernità.
In the triennium 2019-2022 he is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Italian Association of Romanian Studies (Associazione Italiana di Romenistica, AIR).
