Next Generation

The Virtual College of Excellence “Next Generation” (The Next Generation Invisible College) has three distinct units.

(1) UBB Student Fellowship – Students (bachelor, master, doctoral, including all lines of study)

The Excellence/Performance Scholarships’ winners, coordinated by the Scientific Council of UBB, reunited in an Invisible College of Excellence in Mentored Research/ICEMR [research is focused on (a) the fundamental/exploratory, multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary issues or (b) sports or cultural-artistic field]

Students of the Students’ Academic Performance College/SAPC (research is focused on multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary aspects, socially relevant and associated to social volunteering)

  • During the academic year of 2016-2017, the STAR-UBB Institute provided 40 positions in SAPC.
  • During the academic year of 2017-2018, the STAR-UBB Institute provided 40 positions in SAPC.
  • During the academic year of 2018-2019, the STAR-UBB Institute provided 40 positions in SAPC.

Each excellence unit has integrated actions, such as periodic presentations of the undertaken projects, in order to stimulate multi-, inter- and trans-disciplinary research.
